How Much Are Missed Calls Costing You?
Move the sliders to your real numbers. The math updates as you go. No industry averages, no benchmarks. Every figure on this page comes from what you enter.
Picking a type only changes the wording and where the sliders start. The starting numbers are placeholders, not benchmarks. Put in your own.
Calls per month
How many inbound calls do you get in a typical month?
Percent of calls missed
What share of those calls go unanswered?
Average sale value
What is a typical sale or customer worth to you?
Close rate
Of the calls you do answer, how many turn into customers?
Calls you start answering
If you fixed the phone, what share of today's missed calls would get picked up?
How this is calculated
Missed calls = calls × percent missed. Lost customers = missed calls × your close rate. Revenue lost = lost customers × your average sale value. Daily is the monthly figure divided by 30. Annual is the monthly figure times 12.
These numbers come from what you enter, not from an industry study. No benchmark or claim is built into this tool. If you have real answer-rate data from your phone system or CRM, use it. If you are guessing, say so out loud and treat the result as a range, not a fact.
One caution worth naming: not every missed call is a lost customer. Some callers try again, and some were never going to buy. Set the close rate to what you actually close, and the number stays defensible.
You have the number. Here is the fix.
A four week plan to cut that number down, one action a week, using the phone system you already have. Nothing to buy. Put your name and email below and the playbook is yours.
